                       THE GOLDBERGS

The 4 Goldberg brothers, Lowell, Norman, Hiram and Max invented and developed the first automobile air-conditioner on JULY, 17^th, 1946 the temperature was 96 degrees. The brothers walked into Henry Ford’s office and sweet talked his secretary into telling him that the 4 brothers were there and they had the most exciting innovation since the electric starter! Henry was excited to hear and invited them into his office. They refused and instead told him to come out into the parking lot and step into there car. Then once he was in the car it was about 130 degrees. And once they turned the conditioner on it cooled the car down immediately. Henry got very excited and asked if he could buy it for 3 million. The brothers refused saying they would settle for 2 million but wanted there recognition by having a label saying the Goldberg’s air conditioner on the dashboard of each of the cars in witch it was installed. Now Henry would not even think of doing that there was no way he was willing to put the gold burgs name on 2 million fords. They haggled back and forth for about 2 hours and finally settled for 4 million and there first names only would be shown. And to this day ford conditioners say LO, HI, NORM, and MAX .  just so you know

                      Brave captin smith

                                One day Brave Caption Smith and his crew of sailors were sailing on the ocean blue. Suddenly on the horizon a ship with a scull and cross raised on the mast.The crew were frantic, seeking refuge and asking caption Smith what to do. Brave caption Smith looked at the ship for a moment and then said bring me my red shirt. The call was taken up at once by the cabin boy. As soon as he had the shirt in his possession he said turn the ship right toward the pirate ship. In the fight of the 2 ships Smiths won! But after the fight the cabin boy said why did you need your red shirt sir. Smith replied “because if I were to get wounded I would not want you to see the blood and get discouraged” . for the next week the crew admired Smith for that. But one month later 10 pirate ships came into view on the horizon. And once Smith saw them he said “Bring me my brown pants”                                                                                                                                                           

                     Bad day for the patent.    

 A doctor told his patent that a rare disease and only had six months to live. “Isn’t there anything I can do?” pleaded the patent . Marry a lawyer the doctor advised.                  USMC COMMUNICATIONS 

 In addition to communicating with the local air traffic control facility all aircraft in Persian gulf AOR are requested to give the Iranian defense radar (military) a 10 minute heads up if they will be transiting Iran air space. This is a common procedure for commercial air craft and involves giving them your call sine transponder code.  (Type of aircraft, point of origin, and destination). I flew with a guy that overheard this conversation on the VHF guard emergency frequency 121.5 MHz wile flying from Europe to Dubai . the conversation went something like this…

Air Defense Radar: “you are in Iranian airspace identify your self”                                                             

Aircraft: “we are an American aircraft”. 

Air Defense Radar: “ you are Iranian airspace. If you do not identify yourself we will be forced to launch interceptor aircraft.

Aircraft: “this is a United States Marine Corps F/A 18. Send ‘em up I’ll wait”.

Air Defense Radar: NO RESPONSE (TOTAL SCILENCE)
